Funding Artistic Endeavors in our Community

The Battell Arts Foundation provides grants to local individuals and organizations in a variety of categories – including scholarships to youth for continuing education, grants to local schools, support for community arts performances, grants to educational initiatives, and a college scholarship to continue study in the arts.  Applications are considered on an ongoing basis and MUST contain the following elements. 

No application will be considered without fully addressing these items:

·           The proposed activity or experience

·           The estimated cost

·           The amount of money requested

·           How the applicant will use the funds 

·           How the activity or experience will benefit the applicant and/or the community

·           The applicant’s past experience in relation to this activity or experience

·           The applicant’s financial need 

NOTE: In addition, for scholarship applications, a letter of recommendation supporting the applicant is also required.  This letter must be from a teacher, artistic mentor, or non-family interested party.
